World Music Atlas Project (WorldMAP)

The initial project of OneWorldMix will be an online atlas of the world's music and musicians. The goal will be to create a living atlas describing artists and their collaborations and works over the course of their careers.

Focusing on independent musicians and serious amateurs, we will create a geneology of their origins. We believe this will be highly complimentary to the Music Genome Project.

We also hope that visually mapping music to the Earth will further the sense of global community while also emphasizing the importance of place, time and diversity as it drives the creative process.
